MackBricks sells 3D-printed train wheels for brick models. This page says what we collect, why, and who else sees it. It describes what the site actually does.
What we collect
Your email address. Needed to have an account, to send you an order confirmation, and to reach you if something goes wrong with a print.
Your wheel design. Stored as a short build code such as MB-0000-00HT-SRD5 — the entire design is those few characters. We keep one saved design per account, plus a frozen copy of the design attached to each order you place.
Your orders. What you bought, when, how much it cost, and its status.
What we never see
Your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages. Card numbers never reach our servers and we could not store them if we wanted to.
Your password. Accounts are handled by Clerk. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and nothing else.
Who else is involved
- Clerk — accounts and sign-in
- Stripe — payments and refunds
- Neon — the database holding your email, design and orders
- Vercel — hosting
Each holds only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
How long we keep it
Your design and orders stay while your account exists. Order records are kept after that where we are required to for tax and accounting.
Your choices
You can clear your saved design at any time from Wheel Builder — orders are unaffected, so your history and the ability to reorder survive it. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email us and we will do it.
